Q: How much does VHS or DVD digitising cost?

It is priced per tape or disc based on the count and running time. Bring the collection in for a firm quote before work starts. Originals are returned with your pendrive.

Q: Can you copy any DVD?

We digitise non-copy-protected discs only, such as home recordings, family videos and wedding discs. We cannot copy commercially released, copy-protected films.

Q: What format will my videos be in?

Standard MP4 files supplied on a pendrive, playable on any phone, computer, smart TV or tablet.

Q: Can you print larger than A3?

A4 and A3 are our standard in-house sizes. Ask in store about larger poster and signage jobs.

Can you copy any DVD?

We digitise non-copy-protected discs only, home recordings, family videos, wedding discs and the like. We can't copy commercially released, copy-protected films.

What format will my videos be in?

Standard MP4 files, which play on essentially any phone, computer, smart TV or tablet without special software. They're supplied on a pendrive you keep, bring your own or we can supply one.

Do I need to bring my document on a USB stick?

Whatever's easiest, USB stick, an email to the shop, or a cloud link you open at the counter. We'll print from any of them.

Can you print larger than A3?

Ask us in store. A4 and A3 are our standard in-house sizes; for larger poster and signage jobs we'll tell you what's possible and what it'll cost.

Can you fix a torn or faded old photo?

Often, yes. We scan it first, then repair tears, creases, water damage and fading by hand on the digital copy, your original is never at risk. We'll assess it and tell you what's achievable before quoting. Badly damaged photos can't always be fully restored, and we'll be honest about that up front.

Can you turn a black-and-white photo into colour?

Yes, we colourise black-and-white photos, which is the one people most often frame and give to family. It's priced per photo depending on complexity; bring it in for a quote.

Do you digitise cassette tapes and vinyl records?

Yes, alongside VHS and DVD. Audio cassettes and vinyl are captured to digital files you can keep on a pendrive or your phone. Very old or fragile tapes we'll assess first, since some are too far gone to play safely.

How long will my tapes be with you?

It depends on the size of the collection and the total running time, conversion happens in real time, so a long tape takes as long as the tape runs. We'll give you a collection date when we quote.
